This NEW Disney Snack Is A Candy Lover’s DREAM

11 September 2026 at 14:32

If you have a sweet tooth and you’ll be at Downtown Disney soon, then you need to have Disney’s newest candy on your radar!

So many options!

You can fill up a bag or mini trash can at Downtown Disney’s brand-new bulk candy station!

A bag of the brand-new bulk candy alone is $14.99, and you can bundle it with a souvenir container. The Main Street, U.S.A. Novelty Candy Container is $14.99 with any bulk candy purchase, so this souvenir will be $29.98 before tax. You can find both the bulk candy and the souvenir trash can in at the Wonderful World of Sweets in Downtown Disney.

Trash cans!!!

You can choose from so many different types of brand-new bulk candies to fill your bag or trash can up with, including Butterfly Gummies from The Netherlands, Raspberry Gummies from The Netherlands, Raspberry Jellies from The Netherlands, Fruit-flavored Gummies from Italy, and Banana and Strawberry-flavored Gummies from The Netherlands. The candies we tried were so yummy and packed with fruit flavor!

So many options!

These Main Street, U.S.A. Novelty Candy Containers are miniature replicas of the iconic Main Street, U.S.A. trash cans you’ll find at Disneyland and Magic Kingdom! With swinging side lids and a flip-top opening, they’ve got all the charm of their full-sized cousins, just shrunk down and filled with sugar (how amazing is that?!).

The display

These are identical to the versions sold in Disney World, which you can find at Main Street Confectionery in Magic Kingdom. We got ours there last year, and it’s quickly become one of our favorite Disney souvenirs!

We filled our trash can with M&Ms!

We’ll be sure to update you on more fun Disneyland snacks. Stay tuned to Disney Food Blog for more Disney food news!

Disney Just Released 2 NEW Souvenirs in the Parks (and You’re Gonna Love Them)

4 September 2026 at 16:17

When it comes to Disney souvenirs, food and beverage-related novelties like popcorn buckets, sippers, and the like have become some of the most in-demand keepsakes at the company’s resorts.

Coco sipper!

In early September, not one but two new novelty items dropped at the Disneyland Resort, just in time for the start of fall celebration season!

Let’s begin with the Coco Lantern Sipper!

Such a pretty sipper

The new sipper is designed to resemble a multi-colored lantern featuring Miguel, Mama Coco, Héctor Rivera, and Dante the dog, each of which spins, and the center carousel lights up in three glow patterns: slow pulse, quick pulse, and constant glow. The color explosion continues with a yellow straw and a vibrant lanyard. This $30.99 sipper includes a Coca-Cola bottled beverage at the time of purchase.

This sipper is limited to two per person, per transaction, and no discounts can be applied. It can be found at Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante & Ship to Shore Marketplace at Disneyland Park, and at Paradise Garden Grill at Disney California Adventure Park.

There’s One Rule About This New ‘Star Wars’ Toy — Don’t Look Too Close

9 August 2026 at 15:45

We’re suckers for a lot of Disney merchandise; that’s a fact for sure, but sometimes we see something that really makes us stop in our tracks…for better or for worse.

@disneyparks on Instagram

With this newest release, we’ll be honest, we’re a little stuck in the middle. Disney just announced the arrival of Batuu Adventure Buddies at Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland Park, and the first one is none other than an adorable Ewok. There’s only one problem — what in the WORLD is going on with his teeth?

The Ewok will be the first in the new Batuu Adventure Buddy collection, which will officially launch in Disneyland on August 13th, but don’t worry, he’ll be making his way to Disney World at a later date. You can find him at the Droid Depot, and more friends are on the way, which is all fine and dandy, but these TEETH?! Disney, what is happening?

©Disney

From afar, it doesn’t look super noticeable. Don’t worry, we’ve done the work for you — let’s zoom in, shall we?

©Disney

AHH! Yep, there they are. It’s a small detail, yes, but from the moment we first saw it, now it’s all we can see. However, we will admit that this little guy has a lot of fun functionalities that will likely distract you from the horror story that is those teeth. The Ewok is interactive and has expressive eyes, motorized facial expressions, and a mix of signature sounds, including giggles, laughs, and chatter to showcase its personality, and the other two coming to the collection have the same features.

@disneyparks on Instagram

The Ewoks can also interact with other droids built in the Droid Depot, which is quite impressive. If you tap a single time on its head or tap twice on its belly, you’ll get a random response, but three quick, consecutive head taps enable two special animations: the Endor Dance Party or the Forest Call Chain. Your buddy can also be further customized with optional accessories that are available for an additional fee inside the Droid Depot. The food, toys, and tools that come with the gear sets connect directly to your pal’s left hand and trigger unique animations, sounds, and reactions — they’re more than just for show!

©Disney

We’re very excited these are also coming to Disney World, because despite the teeth, we’ve got a feeling they’ll be quite popular, especially with their interactive elements. No release date has yet been announced for the other two toys coming to the collection, but we’ll be sure to keep an eye out, so stay tuned to DFB!

Disney’s NEW Haunted Mansion Popcorn Bucket WILL Sell Out — Here’s How to Get One

9 August 2026 at 10:00

We’ve got a strong feeling that Disneyland’s newest popcorn bucket is going to be one of its most popular offerings in a while…

©Disney

Disneyland recently revealed a must-have souvenir, and this one has Haunted Mansion fans buzzing! The brand-new Hatbox Ghost Popcorn Bucket is arriving at the resort this August, and if history tells us anything, this delightfully spooky collectible is going to be one of the hottest Disney souvenirs of the Halloween season. Will you actually be able to get one? Your odds increase dramatically if you follow these tips…

While not every popcorn bucket sells out, everything Disneyland offers comes in a limited supply, so it’s always possible. If you don’t want to be left out, check out some of our best tips!

Go on Day One

The brand-new Hatbox Ghost Bucket will launch in both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure on August 13th, 2026 — and we recommend heading to the parks for one on that date.

©Disney

Yes, popcorn bucket launches can feel absolutely chaotic. You’ll probably see photos of long lines and get intimidated immediately. With that said, your chances of grabbing this bucket on the first day that it’s out are actually pretty great. You may have to wait in line, but Disney generally prepares for these big merchandise releases — especially when they know demand is going to be high. In fact, don’t be surprised if they’re still available for the next several days as well.

This Year’s Buckets Have Been Surprisingly Easy to Find

Speaking of buckets still being available, it’s worth noting that every release is different. For example, the incredibly popular Lightning McQueen Popcorn Bucket that debuted months ago was still available during a recent check. That’s a pretty encouraging sign that Disney has been producing more buckets than they let on.

You can still grab it in Disney California Adventure

Now, the Hatbox Ghost bucket could absolutely be a different story. The Haunted Mansion has one of Disney’s most passionate fan communities — and some people collect everything Haunted Mansion-related. So that could complicate this process. Still, it’s impossible to rule out Disney being ready for the demand.

Don’t Feed the Resellers

Immediately after its release (and even before), you’re going to find these popcorn buckets on eBay. If you absolutely HAVE to own one after they sell out, you’ll probably find dozens of listings online — but you should expect to pay significantly more than the original price.

King Arthur Carrousel Popcorn Bucket

Unfortunately, buying from resellers only encourages the cycle, and inflated prices tend to keep climbing as demand grows.

©Disney

Instead, if you can’t make it to Disneyland yourself, your best bet is to ask a trusted friend or family member who’s visiting the parks to pick one up for you and simply reimburse them at face value. It’s a much better deal — and it avoids rewarding the resale market altogether.

Know Where to Buy One

One of the biggest mistakes guests make is jumping into the very first popcorn stand line they see. In reality, you might find more stock and/or better lines elsewhere.

Disneyland popcorn cart

Some kiosks are tucked away enough that they can have noticeably shorter waits than the obvious, high-traffic spots. For this particular bucket, you can find it at the following locations:

Disneyland

Disney California Adventure

Grizzly Peak popcorn cart

Sometimes walking an extra five minutes can save you twenty. The Hatbox Ghost shouldn’t be underestimated. Haunted Mansion souvenirs bring in the crowds, and this looks like another hit collectible from Disney. It’s already popular enough to be making its way as an exclusive at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom!

©Disney

If you’re hoping to add the Hatbox Ghost Popcorn Bucket to your Disney collection, don’t assume you’ll have to camp out overnight. Just follow these simple tips and pray for a little luck! In the meantime, we’ll be keeping you up to date on all the latest from the Disneyland Resort, so be sure to keep it posted right here at DFB to stay in the know!

Popular Store Officially REOPENS In Disneyland After A Lengthy Refurbishment

29 July 2026 at 09:36

You’re going to fall in love with this store’s new look at Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort!

Downtown Disney

Earlier this year, the Pandora Jewelry store closed for a massive renovation. Now that the lengthy closure is over, the renovation is officially complete. Let’s take a look at the new changes that have come to the popular jewelry store.

Disney put it best when they posted the store’s new look on Instagram — “New look. Same sparkle.” Pandora Jewelry has officially reopened in Downtown Disney, and you can now visit their beautifully reimagined space. Get ready to shop hand-finished necklaces, earrings, charms, bracelets, and so much more.

©Pandora

From the post, the store looks amazing inside! It looks refreshed, elegant, and bright. We love the Pandora logo mirror on the back wall, and the setup is perfect for browsing.

©Pandora

What we love most is the wall of Disney Princesses inside the store. The wall features rings and the Disney castle, as well as a hand-drawn art style of Ariel, Rapunzel, Jasmine, Cinderella, Snow White, and Tiana. Its design is absolutely unique and eye-catching.

©Pandora

It looks like a lot of work was put into the renovation, and we can see why it took a few months to reopen the store. So, head on over to Pandora Jewelry when you’re walking around the Disneyland Resort shopping and dining district.

©Pandora

Downtown Disney has been seeing quite a few changes over the past couple of months. Recently, a brand-new celebrity restaurant called Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby opened, and it’s been super popular! It has an outdoor terrace featuring great views of the fireworks, and it “brings the vibrant spirit of London’s legendary Carnaby Street to Downtown Disney with elevated British fare, inventive cocktails, and an energetic dining experience.”

Why This Disney Popcorn Bucket Is Making A BIG Comeback

28 July 2026 at 15:02

You know that we’re avid Disney popcorn bucket lovers here at the Disney Food Blog! Disney World often gets some really cool exclusive buckets, but we all know you can’t find buckets quite like the ones you find at Disneyland Resort.

King Arthur Carrousel Popcorn Bucket

A new King Arthur Carrousel Popcorn Bucket dropped at Disneyland in May of this year, and it was themed after the iconic carrousel in Fantasyland. We were instantly obsessed with it and waited a long time in line to get it. It’s a Magic Keyholder-exclusive popcorn bucket, and you’re probably going to start seeing Magic Keyholder guests walking around with this bucket a lot more over the next couple of weeks!

As great as Disneyland popcorn buckets like this are, they unfortunately can’t be used for popcorn refills. It’s not the end of the world, since the exclusive buckets are awesome collectibles to own, but it would be a great perk to come with grabbing one of these items.

Magic Key King Arthur Carrousel Popcorn Bucket

Well, that perk is coming to Disneyland for a limited time! From now through August 17th, Magic Key holders can keep their King Arthur’s Carrousel full of popcorn with $2.25 popcorn refills. Refills will be available at select Disneyland locations. We have a feeling you might start seeing people carrying these popcorn buckets around the parks again.

Beautiful artwork

We’ve seen a ton of popcorn bucket designs drop this year, and this one is by far one of our favorites. The bucket has a beautiful design, and it rotates and plays music. Bringing something like this ot the park can be stressful sometimes. The fear of dropping it, getting it scratched, or breaking it is totally valid. However, that $2.25 popcorn refill is looking pretty sweet.

King Arthur Carrousel

We’ve seen some pretty cool popcorn buckets at Disneyland this year, and with Halloween Time just around the corner, who knows what could be in store! We’re sure Disney is going to drop new popcorn buckets, alongside other merchandise, during the spooky season.

DISNEYLAND UPDATE: A Pirate’s Glitch for Me, The Billionth Guest, & Cheap Sell-Out

6 July 2026 at 08:32

We hope you had a very happy 4th of July weekend! The Disneyland Resort celebrated America’s 250th last week with patriotic bunting on Main Street U.S.A. and Buena Vista Street, along with performances by military bands, a cavalcade featuring Mickey Mouse in his star-spangled tux, and the debut of Soarin’ Across America.  But the resort […]

Disneyland’s “Once Upon a Bag” is a DIY Fashion Dream Come True

5 July 2026 at 03:56

Once upon a time, in the not-so-faraway land of Disneyland’s Main Street, USA, a new shopping experience magically appeared in a corner store. Tucked away along one of the walls inside Disney Clothiers (or at the D-Lander Shop, if you are in Downtown Disney) is the Disney “Once Upon a Bag” DIY experience, where guests […]

This NEW Disney Popcorn Bucket Is Every Toy Story Fan’s DREAM

18 June 2026 at 16:52

Here at Disney Food Blog, there’s nothing we love more than a massive bucket of Disney popcorn. But there’s something that makes it ten times better – a massive bucket of Disney popcorn in a Toy Story 5 popcorn bucket!

Jessie took our popcorn bucket!

Disney has just released a brand-new popcorn bucket coming to the parks, and it’s inspired by one of our favorite Toy Story steeds. That’s right, the Bullseye Bucket has arrived!

Click for your FREE Disneyland Snack Map

This Bullseye Bucket is available at various popcorn carts around Disneyland for $29 with popcorn, and you can mobile order it on the Disneyland app. You can also get it at Award Weiners with fries instead of popcorn.

We got ours at the Grizzly Peak popcorn cart!

This Bullseye Bucket is so much more than a popcorn bucket. It has a container where you can place your popcorn bucket, but it comes with a detachable saddle so you can cover it and make your very own Bullseye toy! He also has poseable legs to adjust him for any snack adventure.

So cute!

The Bullseye Bucket will also be coming to Disney World soon, but Disney hasn’t announced which parks or the release date for the East Coast. We can’t wait to have a photoshoot with this little guy in Toy Story Land!

It’s Bullseye!

We love our new Bullseye popcorn bucket from Disneyland. Stay tuned to Disney Food Blog for more Disneyland (but mostly popcorn) news!

The SECRET Place To Get Our Favorite $15 Disney Souvenir

12 June 2026 at 11:54

There are a few classic things you simply MUST do when you go to Disneyland Resort. You take a photo of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle, you grab a churro, and you ride your favorite ride. But you also need to grab a souvenir to commemorate the trip, and this one is our favorite.

Sleeping Beauty Castle

Sure, you could get a boring Disney magnet or a postcard, but real Disney experts know that there is one souvenir that NEVER grows old — in fact, it is literally preserving a moment in time! And it’s just $15? Yes, it exists, and we know where to get it!

Planning guide for the ultimate Disney vacation

Allow us to direct your attention to a little souvenir shop called Disneyana, located on Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland Park. It’s not your typical Disney theme park gift shop — this place sells one-of-a-kind works of art and limited-edition pieces.

Hello from Disneyana!

We LOVE Disney artists — every artist has their own style, and there’s truly something for everyone. But as much as we love to look at all the original art around the shop, today, we’re here to talk about a different type of art: portraits.

You never know what you might find here!

At this point, those hand-cut silhouettes sold along Main Street, U.S.A. at Disney parks around the world are pretty famous. They’re a must-have for EVERY Disney fan! But did you know that there’s another place to get a custom hand-cut silhouette portrait? You can find this experience at the Disneyana gift shop now, too!

Look what we spotted!

If you’re new here, these artists create a hand-cut portrait of you (or a loved one if you have a clear reference photo) out of paper and scissors. It’s SO interesting to watch them flawlessly turn a simple piece of paper into a person. The talent is UNMATCHED.

Silhouette Portrait Studio in Magic Kingdom

If you want even more artwork to decorate your home, check out some of their framed pieces, too! Yep — this is ALL made out of cut paper.

SO talented!

On an especially hot or busy day in Disneyland, taking some time to go inside Disneyana for a portrait is the BEST thing to do! Keep in mind that the price varies depending on your requests — you can purchase the portrait framed or unframed.

The silhouette artists are amazing!

Don’t want to go through all of the stress of booking your Disney World trip alone? Reach out to our friends at Small World Vacations! Their experienced agents monitor your reservation for possible future savings, compare discounts and figure out which one works best for your travel party, dates, resort, and touring plans. And, they share expert tips and first-hand advice with you about your magical vacation.

Disney Vacation Planner

Whether you’re a parent purchasing a portrait of your little one or a Disney fan looking for a unique souvenir, this is such a fun experience! In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more.

DISNEYLAND UPDATE: Crowds, Closures & Corporate Cutbacks

13 April 2026 at 08:38

As spring break continues (and with summer right around the corner), Disneyland is extremely busy. And all those guests arrived despite higher ticket prices during school vacations and several major rides closed for refurbishment, including Jungle Cruise and both Toy Story-themed attractions. Still, Bluey continues to attract families with preschoolers to Disneyland (even if they […]

Disneyland Resort Souvenir Guide: Freebies, Merch, and More

7 November 2025 at 11:00

The magic of a Disneyland Resort vacation lasts long after the trip is over. Souvenirs you’ll cherish for years to come are a special way to commemorate those lifelong memories.

I still have character autographs, park maps, T-shirts, and toys from visits during my childhood, and I’m sure many families and fans can relate.

To provide options for as many guests as possible, Disneyland has a wide selection of souvenirs at a variety of price points. We’re sharing a rundown of some freebies, must-have merchandise, and one-of-a-kind experiences you can choose from to take a piece of the happiness home.

Disneyland Resort Souvenir Guide Freebies, Merch and More

Freebies and Complimentary Keepsakes

With admission to Disneyland park or Disney California Adventure park, there are free items you can collect to remember your visit. In addition to a full day’s worth of fun, these complimentary keepsakes take your park ticket perks even further.

Celebration Buttons

The iconic celebration buttons add a magical touch to your trip and outfit. Different options are available for birthdays, first visits, “happily ever afters” and celebratory occasions.

These complimentary buttons are offered inside City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A., in Disneyland or at Guest Services in California Adventure.

Ride Photos

At this time, you can receive complimentary digital downloads of your Disney PhotoPass photos* on board select attractions. Commemorate your journey on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and Space Mountain at Disneyland. In California Adventure, attraction photos capture the thrills of Radiator Springs Racers, Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!, and Incredicoaster.

Instructions on how to link and download your photos with the Disneyland app or Disney PhotoPass webpage are available at Disneyland.com.

Also at Disneyland, Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters offers a free photo with your score from the ride. After blasting targets and Zurg’s squad of rampaging robots, you can email the photo to yourself.

Park Maps and Other Paper Goods

Look out for paper goods throughout your day, which make great additions to scrapbooks, journals, or collages.

Available at the main gates of Disneyland or California Adventure, commemorative theme park maps provide a snapshot of what the parks looked like during your visit, sometimes including seasonal designs. You can even grab the family adventure map, which features playful illustrations and helpful information for those traveling with little ones.

Some attractions have unique paper goods that make for great keepsakes, like a themed sticker at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in California Adventure. If you try your hand at drawing a Disney character at Animation Academy, your sketch also makes a great souvenir.

Even dining locations have mementos you may want to collect, like illustrated paper coasters inspired by favorite Pixar characters at Lamplight Lounge or Star Wars-inspired designs on coasters from Oga’s Cantina.

Character Autographs

After snapping a photo with your favorite Disney pals, you can request an autograph from select characters for a unique keepsake that also catalogs the friends you met on your trip.

You can bring a notebook from home to collect signatures or even get creative by asking characters to sign a photo frame. If you’d like a Disney-themed book, you may purchase autograph books at shops around the resort as a low-cost and easy-to-carry souvenir.

Lower Priced Souvenirs

Budget-friendly finds are available across Disneyland Resort to commemorate your magical day.

Discover tiny treasures with pressed pennies. Prices start at $1 per pressed penny, and you can pick from over 150 different commemorative images to build a collection with.

Have some prophetic fun by visiting fortune tellers in Disneyland park. The nostalgic experience offers a glimpse into your future with a paper card to remember your visit by.

Collectors won’t want to miss a wide selection of medallions with unique — sometimes seasonal — designs which can be found throughout Disneyland Resort.

Capture picture-perfect poses at photo booths located across Disneyland Resort. These printed pictures are bordered with Disney-themed designs.

At select retail locations, you’ll find Disneyland postcard designs available for purchase. If you bring a stamp with you, you can even send your card to loved ones from mailboxes on Main Street, U.S.A.

Watch in wonder as a Silhouette Studio artist creates a portrait of your profile or a favorite character before framing this memory at home.

Some attractions offer themed souvenirs, such as getting a personalized driver’s license from Autopia in Disneyland park.

Disney Apparel and Merchandise

There’s merchandise the whole family will love at shops throughout The Happiest Place on Earth. Kids can choose from a variety of toys and plushies, while adults may love housewares and home décor.

Apparel is available in an array of sizes and designs, so everyone can show off their Disney style! A Disneyland Resort Spirit Jersey, Minnie Mouse ear headband, and Loungefly mini backpack are a popular outfit combination.

Create Your Own Headband is a great accessory for switching up your Disney look each time you visit. Mix and match Disney mini plush accessories to create your own personalized masterpiece.

You may even be able to save time by scanning and paying for select items using Merchandise Mobile Checkout on the Disneyland app at World of Disney in Downtown Disney District, Emporium in Disneyland, and Elias & Co. in California Adventure.

Watch for merchandise news on the Disney Parks Blog throughout the year for limited-time offerings as you get excited for your visit.

Custom Embroidery

You can make select products like Mickey Mouse ear hats, sweaters, T-shirts and backpacks even more special with custom embroidery services, creating a one-of-a-kind souvenir or thoughtful gift.

At Plaza Point on Main Street, U.S.A., talented cast members can hand paint festive designs on select items like faux leather Minnie Mouse ear headbands and ornaments.

After buying the item you’d like personalized, keep the tags on and take your receipt to locations with embroidery and personalization services on the same day of purchase to add this extra special piece of Disney magic for an additional cost.

Items to Use in the Parks and Beyond
