REVIEW: Don’t Forget About These Snacks at the 2026 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival

8 March 2026 at 14:19

Disney California Adventure’s Food and Wine Festival is FINALLY here, and we’re warning you now that if you’re hungry, you may want to grab a snack before you continue reading!

Schmoozies!

The 2026 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival has officially started at Disneyland Resort, and there is so much to explore. From now through April 27th, you can devour some delicious eats and drinks, check out unique entertainment, and so much more. However, the festival booths aren’t the ONLY spots you can grab some exclusive eats — there are also festival-specific offerings at some of the year-round locations in the park, and we’re checking some of them out!

Schmoozies!

One of the items we were MOST excited about was the Mickey-shaped Banana-Hazelnut Waffles for $11.29.

Mickey-shaped Banana-Hazelnut Waffles

The chocolate hazelnut filling inside was thick and ooey and gooey, and reminded us of Nutella in the best way. The banana whipped topping has a very artificial taste to it, but it didn’t bother us too much. We do wish the banana was more of a custard inside the waffle and the chocolate hazelnut was a drizzle on top, just to balance the flavors a bit more, but all in all, this is a good waffle.

Lots of filling!

It’s not the best we’ve had, but it’s far from the worst, so we think it’s pretty solid!

Pym Test Kitchen

Here, you can grab the Spinach and Artichoke Grilled Cheese for $14.99.

Spinach and Artichoke Grilled Cheese

The parmesan crusted bread gave this sandwich a beautiful crunch that we adored, but it doesn’t add or take away any flavor from the rest of the dish, which we were happy about! The cheese itself was perfectly melty and gave us a great cheese pull, but both the spinach and artichoke flavor comes through a lot as well, so you’ll want to be sure you’re a fan of those flavors before grabbing this.

Delicious!

Now, the one downside here is that this is VERY heavy, so we don’t recommend eating it on a hot day, or in the middle of the day before you’re about to go on some rides. As for the potato bites, they were cooked well and had a great crunch, too. We enjoyed the garlic salt they had on top, but we do recommend dipping it in something, as otherwise the salt is a little much.

Yum!

Aunt Cass Café

First up was the Burrata Toast for $8.49, which is Toasted Boudin sourdough, onion jam, lemon burrata, marinated cherry tomatoes, arugula, and balsamic glaze.

Burrata Toast

We are SO happy this was brought back this year. Our toast was a bit burnt, but that was totally okay because there were plenty of toppings to make it soggy enough to cut into. The flavors of the grilled onions and burrata, along with the tang of the balsamic glaze, make this such an incredible snack. It’s not shareable because of the size, but we could easily eat three in one sitting because of how incredible it is!

We LOVE this!

New this year is the Banana Caramel Bread Pudding for $8.49, which is Banana pudding with caramelized butter sauce, whipped topping, and crushed vanilla wafers.

We really wanted to love this, but unfortunately, while the initial bite has great flavor, the aftertaste rings very artificial. It’s gooey, warm, and has a lot of flavor, but it just wasn’t our favorite — we don’t think we’d get it again.

We wanted to love it more than we did!

We also grabbed the Bunch of Grapes Pull-apart Bread for $12.49, which is Boudin sourdough pull-apart bread. This is technically at the Boudin Bread Cart, right outside of Aunt Cass Café, but they’re right near each other!

Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta

Here, you can snag a slice of the Chicken Spinach Artichoke Dip Pizza for $9.49, which is Herb roasted chicken with spinach artichoke creamy cheese sauce (you can also grab a whole pie, if you’d like!).

Chicken Spinach Artichoke Dip Pizza

Garlic is the MAIN flavor here, so you’ve really gotta love that flavor! The spinach artichoke flavor comes on the backend, and we do feel the pieces of artichoke were a little too big, and the chicken was slightly dry for us, but the pizza itself was baked very well, so it all sort of melted in your mouth. We recommend sharing this, as it IS a big slice, and it’s quite heavy!

Lots of garlic here!

Clarabelle’s Hand Scooped Ice Cream

Here you can grab the Frozen Banoffee Banana for $7.99! This is a Milk chocolate-dipped frozen banana with toffee pieces, caramel sauce, and white chocolate drizzle.

Frozen Banoffee Banana

If you’re a fan of frozen bananas, you’ll certainly love this treat. We personally let ours thaw the slightest bit before biting into it, which really made the soft, flavorful banana explode in our mouths in the best way. The chocolate is the secondary flavor, while the nuts come in on the backend. It falls apart immediately, so be sure to grab some napkins, but this was a solid treat!

Yum!

That’s it for now, but there’s a LOT more where that came from!
