We Waited In A Long Line To Get Disney’s New Popcorn Bucket…And We’d Do It Again

15 May 2026 at 10:24

If you collect Disney popcorn buckets, you’ve probably been keeping up with all the latest popcorn bucket drops, and we’ve seen some VERY cool popcorn buckets recently, including a Salvaged Protocol Droid Popcorn Bucket, a Pixar Pal-A-Round Round Popcorn Bucket, and more.

Magic Key King Arthur Carrousel Popcorn Bucket

Well, if you want to get the NEWEST Disney popcorn bucket in Disneyland, which has a King Arthur Carrousel Theme, you’ll have to qualify for it first…that’s because this new popcorn bucket is a Magic Key holder exclusive! But it’s available now!

Although this popcorn bucket is exclusive to Magic Key holders, when we arrived to pick up one at the Main Street snack cart, there was a long line ahead of us (it had two switchbacks!). The good news is that there were plenty of King Arthur Carrousel Popcorn Buckets in stock, so by the time we made it through the line, we managed to purchase one for $39.75.

Just look at it!

Now that you’ve seen the popcorn bucket, though, we’re sure you can see the appeal. It’s like a miniature version of the Carrousel in Fantasyland! It has artwork inspired by the Carrousel with the horses and seats you’d find on the REAL version of King Arthur Carrousel. You’ll also see smaller renditions of artwork you’d find on the ride. The strap also says “Magic Key Holder” with some fun art on it.

Beautiful artwork

But what really sets this popcorn bucket apart is that it also plays music and spins like the ride! So you can now basically take King Arthur Carrousel home with you.

If you’re a Magic Key holder and want to get your hands on this popcorn bucket, we do recommend grabbing it as quickly as you can, because it’s already really popular. Although there were still plenty left when we bought ours, there’s no guarantee that will be the case later.

We’ll keep an eye out for more incredible Disney souvenirs like this one and let you know when we find them. So stay tuned to DFB for more.

Bluey has arrived at Disneyland with a new stage show that’s already drawing big crowds at the Fantasyland Theatre. But does “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” live up to the hype—and is it worth carving out time in an already packed park day? We checked it out during a preview and have everything you need to […]

Rapunzel’s Tower Coming to Disneyland’s Storybook Land Canal Boats Attraction

Disneyland has announced that it will soon be adding Rapunzel’s Tower to the Storybook Land Canal Boats attraction as part of the resort’s 70th Anniversary celebrations. The addition joins the picturesque realm of miniature homes, villages, and castles from favorite fairytales in this classic Disneyland ride. You’ll find Rapunzel’s Tower between the Patchwork Quilt and Toad Hall when the attraction reopens this winter. Here’s the announcement and concept art!

Rapunzel’s Tower Coming to Storybook Land Canal Boats

Colorful boat filled with excited passengers sailing past a fairy tale castle-themed landscape with a castle tower, lush greenery, and a stone bridge over a reflective waterway at a Disney park.

As shown in newly released concept art, the slender tower is marked by a shingled turret and several windows high above the ground. A meticulously cared for selection of flora completes the scene, creating a lush green oasis among the boulders surrounding Rapunzel’s home.

Beyond the tower, multiple wanted posters seeking Flynn Rider dot the stone wall, and even in miniature, they still couldn’t get Flynn’s nose right. In fact, each poster has a different depiction of Flynn’s most difficult-to-capture feature.

A secluded dock with a boat inspired by the one from the film will sit at the edge of the water further down the canal. The dock is framed by a trail of twinkling lights winding up a trellis on the bridge, where the Casey Jr. Circus Train rumbles along.

As you float by this scene during the day, you’ll hear a charming arrangement of “When Will My Life Begin?” escaping from Rapunzel’s Tower, recalling afternoons of puzzles, darts and baking. Once dusk falls, “I See the Light” will play as you drift along the canal and watch the winking lights, reminiscent of the lanterns Rapunzel and Flynn Rider gazed at from their boat in the film.
