REVIEW: Paradise Garden Grill at the 2026 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival

By: Traci C
9 March 2026 at 11:20

Paradise Garden Grill is serving up special festival dishes again this year at the DCA Food & Wine Festival! Let’s check ’em out.

Paradise Garden Grill

The 2026 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival has officially started at Disneyland Resort, and there are LOTS of things to do. From now through April 27th, you can devour some delicious eats and drinks, check out unique entertainment, and more. Wondering just what you can eat Paradise Garden Grill this year? Well, we’ve checked it out, and now we’re sharing our FULL thoughts.

Menu

Let’s take a look at the festival items at Paradise Garden Grill! This year’s menu features a variety of dishes, including Pork Chile Verde Chalupas, Aguachile Loaded Chips, and Café de Olla Tres Leches Cake.

Paradise Garden Grill Menu

Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s dive into the food itself!

Eats

First up, we grabbed the new Pork Chile Verde Chalupas for $14.99. This is comprised of two chalupas filled with pork in salsa verde, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, and queso fresco served with Spanish rice and refried beans topped with queso fresco.

Pork Chile Verde Chalupas

WOW! This totally blew us away! The taco shell was unlike any other one we’ve ever had — it was soft and chewy in the best way, and paired with the perfectly seasoned pork, the flavors just explode in your mouth. The pork has a bit of a kick to it, but the lettuce, tomato, and lime are a nice way to even it out. The rice and beans were nothing super special, but were solid, so overall, this was a fantastic dish.

Incredible!

Next up, we tried the Aguachile Loaded Chips for $13.49. This dish is zesty chips topped with lime-cooked shrimp, fresh cucumbers, and red onion with aguachile salsa.

Aguachile Loaded Chips

Each chip is coated perfectly in seasoning, which we really loved, and the agua chili salsa has layers of flavor. It’s got a chili powder flavor that gives it a kick, but you also get a level of salsa verde in there as well. There are so many flavors, and this also explodes in your mouth, especially with the onion and cucumber cooling things down a bit. The shrimp adds an extra flavor without being too briny, and with that added lime you can sprinkle on top, it’s actually refreshing on a hot day!

This is delicious!

Finally, for something sweet, you can get the Café de Olla Tres Leches Cake for $8.50, which is also available at the Mercado de Antojos booth.

Café de Olla Tres Leches Cake

OVERALL

If you’re not opposed to spice, this is absolutely a location you NEED to check out! In fact, we had both of these items on our best of the fest list, so when we suggest it to be high on your list, we mean it 100%. Be sure you’ve got some water with you, and get ready for tons of flavor.

A fantastic spot!

That’s it for this spot, but there’s a LOT more where that came from!

REVIEW: Don’t Forget About These Snacks at the 2026 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival

8 March 2026 at 14:19

Disney California Adventure’s Food and Wine Festival is FINALLY here, and we’re warning you now that if you’re hungry, you may want to grab a snack before you continue reading!

Schmoozies!

The 2026 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival has officially started at Disneyland Resort, and there is so much to explore. From now through April 27th, you can devour some delicious eats and drinks, check out unique entertainment, and so much more. However, the festival booths aren’t the ONLY spots you can grab some exclusive eats — there are also festival-specific offerings at some of the year-round locations in the park, and we’re checking some of them out!

Schmoozies!

One of the items we were MOST excited about was the Mickey-shaped Banana-Hazelnut Waffles for $11.29.

Mickey-shaped Banana-Hazelnut Waffles

The chocolate hazelnut filling inside was thick and ooey and gooey, and reminded us of Nutella in the best way. The banana whipped topping has a very artificial taste to it, but it didn’t bother us too much. We do wish the banana was more of a custard inside the waffle and the chocolate hazelnut was a drizzle on top, just to balance the flavors a bit more, but all in all, this is a good waffle.

Lots of filling!

It’s not the best we’ve had, but it’s far from the worst, so we think it’s pretty solid!

Pym Test Kitchen

Here, you can grab the Spinach and Artichoke Grilled Cheese for $14.99.

Spinach and Artichoke Grilled Cheese

The parmesan crusted bread gave this sandwich a beautiful crunch that we adored, but it doesn’t add or take away any flavor from the rest of the dish, which we were happy about! The cheese itself was perfectly melty and gave us a great cheese pull, but both the spinach and artichoke flavor comes through a lot as well, so you’ll want to be sure you’re a fan of those flavors before grabbing this.

Delicious!

Now, the one downside here is that this is VERY heavy, so we don’t recommend eating it on a hot day, or in the middle of the day before you’re about to go on some rides. As for the potato bites, they were cooked well and had a great crunch, too. We enjoyed the garlic salt they had on top, but we do recommend dipping it in something, as otherwise the salt is a little much.

Yum!

Aunt Cass Café

First up was the Burrata Toast for $8.49, which is Toasted Boudin sourdough, onion jam, lemon burrata, marinated cherry tomatoes, arugula, and balsamic glaze.

Burrata Toast

We are SO happy this was brought back this year. Our toast was a bit burnt, but that was totally okay because there were plenty of toppings to make it soggy enough to cut into. The flavors of the grilled onions and burrata, along with the tang of the balsamic glaze, make this such an incredible snack. It’s not shareable because of the size, but we could easily eat three in one sitting because of how incredible it is!

We LOVE this!

New this year is the Banana Caramel Bread Pudding for $8.49, which is Banana pudding with caramelized butter sauce, whipped topping, and crushed vanilla wafers.

Banana Caramel Bread Pudding

We really wanted to love this, but unfortunately, while the initial bite has great flavor, the aftertaste rings very artificial. It’s gooey, warm, and has a lot of flavor, but it just wasn’t our favorite — we don’t think we’d get it again.

We wanted to love it more than we did!

We also grabbed the Bunch of Grapes Pull-apart Bread for $12.49, which is Boudin sourdough pull-apart bread. This is technically at the Boudin Bread Cart, right outside of Aunt Cass Café, but they’re right near each other!

Bunch of Grapes Pull-apart Bread

Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta

Here, you can snag a slice of the Chicken Spinach Artichoke Dip Pizza for $9.49, which is Herb roasted chicken with spinach artichoke creamy cheese sauce (you can also grab a whole pie, if you’d like!).

Chicken Spinach Artichoke Dip Pizza

Garlic is the MAIN flavor here, so you’ve really gotta love that flavor! The spinach artichoke flavor comes on the backend, and we do feel the pieces of artichoke were a little too big, and the chicken was slightly dry for us, but the pizza itself was baked very well, so it all sort of melted in your mouth. We recommend sharing this, as it IS a big slice, and it’s quite heavy!

Lots of garlic here!

Clarabelle’s Hand Scooped Ice Cream

Here you can grab the Frozen Banoffee Banana for $7.99! This is a Milk chocolate-dipped frozen banana with toffee pieces, caramel sauce, and white chocolate drizzle.

Frozen Banoffee Banana

If you’re a fan of frozen bananas, you’ll certainly love this treat. We personally let ours thaw the slightest bit before biting into it, which really made the soft, flavorful banana explode in our mouths in the best way. The chocolate is the secondary flavor, while the nuts come in on the backend. It falls apart immediately, so be sure to grab some napkins, but this was a solid treat!

Yum!

That’s it for now, but there’s a LOT more where that came from!

REVIEW: Uncork California at the 2026 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival

By: Traci C
8 March 2026 at 10:59

It’s all about wine and wine flights at Uncork California at the 2026 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival!

It’s Mickey-shaped!

The 2026 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival has officially started at Disneyland Resort, and there are LOTS of things to do. From now through April 27th, you can devour some delicious eats and drinks, check out unique entertainment, and more. Wondering just what you can enjoy at this year’s Uncork California booth? Well, we’ve checked it out, and now we’re sharing our FULL thoughts.

Menu

If you’re a wine drinker, you’ll want to check out this year’s menu at Uncork California. This menu sports one fan-favorite returning sweet treat and a whole lotta flights!

2026 Menu

Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s dive into the food itself!

Eats

First up, we grabbed the Mickey-shaped Macaron made with SNICKERS bar pieces for $9. This popular dessert is made with a chocolate Mickey-shaped macaron filled with caramel ganache, made with SNICKERS bar pieces. Last year, we were obsessed with this Snickers Macaron! There’s a reason this baby has returned: it’s still DELICIOUS. We love the Snickers filling and the peanuts on top.

Mickey-shaped Macaron made with SNICKERS bar pieces

This rich and delicious treat, though, does melt FAST on a hot day, so you’ll want to eat it quickly.

Drinks

In terms of drinks, this menu is all about harnessing the power of the grape in three distinct flight options (or you can just grab one individual serving of your favorite). First up, the Mimosa Flight for $ 22.50, which comes with Mango Melon Mimosa, Strawberry Punch Mimosa, and Blue Raspberry Pineapple Mimosa. The Blue Raspberry Pineapple Mimosa is made with sparkling wine, blue raspberry syrup, and pineapple juice. It’s very fruity and sweet and reminds us of a melted popsicle.

Mimosa Flight

The Strawberry Punch Mimosa is made with sparkling wine, strawberry purée, and Simply Fruit Punch. The strawberry was our favorite because it tasted just like fresh strawberry juice. The Mango Melon Mimosa is made with sparkling wine, mango purée, and rock melon syrup. This is the one mimosa in the flight that tastes the most like a sweet dessert wine.

Mimosa Flight

If you just want to grab your favorite mimosa flavor, they’re each priced at $21.50.

You can also get the Red Wine Flight for $23.00, which comes with Famille Perrin Côtes du Rhône Reserve Rosé, Nielson Pinot Noir, and Tablas Creek Vineyard Patelin De Tablas Rouge.

The final flight is the White Wine Flight for $23.00, which includes Kendall Jackson Chenin Blanc, La Crema Chardonnay, and Tablas Creek Vineyard Patelin De Tablas Blanc.

Uncork California

You can also get some individual wines priced separately:

  • The Tablas Creek Vineyard, Patelin de Tablas Rouge, featured in the Red Wine Flight for $20.00.
  • The Tablas Creek Vineyard, Patelin de Tablas Blanc, featured in the Red Wine Flight for $15.00.
  • And the Une Femme, The Betty Sparkling Brut for $10.00, if you prefer your bubbly straight, and without fruit juice mixers.

OVERALL

We know we’ll be coming back for the Strawberry Punch Mimosa, which is a lovely, refreshing drink that’s perfect for hot days. The Snickers macaron, too, is one of those items that will be popular again this year, and for good reason (we’re already thinking about picking up another one). Overall, that makes this a food booth you don’t want to miss.

REVIEW: Mercado de Antojos at the 2026 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival

By: Traci C
7 March 2026 at 12:52

If you’re looking for sweet and savory eats at this year’s DCA Food & Wine Festival, head over to Mercado de Antojos!

Mickey in sprinkles!

The 2026 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival has officially started at Disneyland Resort, and there are LOTS of things to do. From now through April 27th, you can devour some delicious eats and drinks, check out unique entertainment, and more. Wondering just what you can eat at Mercado de Antojos? Well, we’ve checked it out and now we’re sharing our FULL thoughts.

Menu

Over at the Mercado de Antojos booth, you’ll find you’ll find a savory dish, a dessert, and several cocktails!

2026 Menu

Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s dive into the food itself!

Eats

First up, we grabbed the new Torta Ahogada for $9.25. This dish is made with Braised pork carnitas, frijoles charros, pickled onion, and salsa. Okay, first off, it was VERY soggy, and this is one of those items that should have been made fresh, rather than in batches to just sit in the booth’s window. As far as flavor goes, the acidity of the tomato sauce is what you taste first, although the pickled onion adds a nice extra tang. The chicken is tender and well-seasoned. However, we’ve had better tortas at Disneyland, so we don’t think this one stands up to those.

Torta Ahogada

Now it’s time for a little dessert. We grabbed the returning Café de Olla Tres Leches Cake for $8.25. This treat is made with Café de Olla-infused tres leches topped with piloncillo, chantilly, cinnamon, and a Mickey-shaped cookie. We really enjoyed this cake last year, but thought they were a little heavy-handed with the chantilly cream. This year, we felt the balance was a little better.

Café de Olla Tres Leches Cake

It’s not too coffee-forward, and the cake is moist, while the frosting is light and creamy. The little Mickey cookie on top adds some nice crunchiness.

Drinks

In terms of drinks, you can get the Brown Soul Brewing Co., Quiero Maiz for $18.50. We grabbed the Paloma Flight for $19.75. You can get the flight or get individual Paloma options for $18.25. The Black Cherry Paloma is made with Blanco tequila, black cherry purée, and sweet and sour, topped with Fresca and garnished with a lime wheel. If you like cough syrup (as in that artificial cherry flavor of cough syrup), you might like this, but we’d recommend skipping it.

The Blood Orange Paloma is made with Blanco tequila, Italian aperitif, blood orange juice, and sweet and sour, topped with Fresca and garnished with a lime wheel. We found this one refreshing, with a taste that leaned more towards grapefruit juice. We also couldn’t taste the alcohol, so it was easy to drink.

Paloma Flight at Mercado de Antojos

The Cantarito-Style Paloma doesn’t have a lot of flavor, but it does have a spicy kick. You can taste a little lime, but the spiciness is really what it’s all about.

OVERALL

The only thing we’d come back to for this booth is the Café de Olla Tres Leches Cake because we really don’t think the Torta even remotely compares to other tortas we’ve had at Disneyland. As far as drinks go, we’d recommend two out of the three of the flight, but if you’re getting all three, and only like two, it’s still a win, right?

Full spread 2026

That’s it for this booth, but there’s a LOT more where that came from!

REVIEW: LA Style at the 2026 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival

By: Traci C
7 March 2026 at 11:21

Ready to experience some unique California cuisine? Come along with us to LA Style at this year’s Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival.

Full Spread from LA Style!

The 2026 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival has officially started at Disneyland Resort and there are LOTS of things to do. From now through April 27th, you can devour some tasty eats and drinks, check out unique entertainment, and more. Wondering just what you can eat at LA Style? Well, we’ve checked it out and now we’re sharing our FULL thoughts.

Menu

Over at LA Style you’ll find a variety of menu items – and most of them are NEW this year! The only item returning is the Junior LA Street Dog, while the other dining option, and both drink items are totally new.

LA Style

Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s dive into the food itself!

Eats

First up, we grabbed Junior LA Street Dog for $8.50This spin on a hot dog is served with jalapeño mayo, pepper and onion relish, Nueske’s Applewood Smoked Bacon, and crispy onions.

Junior LA Street Dog

We can see why this one is a returning favorite, especially since it’s not too heavy. The bun was nice and fresh, the hot dog itself was cooked well, and our only real complaint is that there were SO many bell peppers, which made it hard to taste the bacon. The jalapeño mayo definitely had a kick to it, so keep that in mind!

Lots of bell peppers!

Next up, we tried the new Carbonara Pizzetta for $8. This fun little flatbread-style snack is made with White sauce, Nueske’s Applewood Smoked Bacon, and black pepper drizzle

Carbonara Pizzetta

The garlic and parmesan are the two flavors that come out the most in here. Again, the flavor of the bacon is once again masked by other ingredients, but that didn’t take away our enjoyment of it! We loved that the dough itself wasn’t too thick and didn’t overpower the toppings. It was well-balanced overall, so we’d love to see this one return!

Drinks

In terms of drinks at this menu, we got the family-friendly Cherry Cola Cold Brew for $7.50.  This is made with Joffrey’s Coffee 70th Anniversary Blend, oat milk, and vanilla crème and cherry syrups, topped with a cherry cola cold foam and a maraschino cherry.

Cherry Cola Cold Brew

The cherry cola is the main flavor here, and we really only tasted the coffee on the backend. It lingered on our tongue a bit, but not unpleasantly. The cold foam was so thick it was hard to drink without a straw, as well as a little unbalanced, so we do recommend snagging a straw to mix it all up to even out all the flavors!

Definitely grab a straw!

Finally, we tried the new Seaborn Strawberry Lemonade Margarita for $18.25.

Seaborn Strawberry Lemonade Margarita

This is super light and refreshing, and the main flavor here is strawberry! Both the lemonade and the alcohol are just small hints of flavor, so you’ve really got to enjoy the flavor of the strawberry to like this drink, and we’d equate it more to a hard seltzer than a margarita since it’s so light.

OVERALL

This was a big hit for us overall! We were pleasantly surprised that nothing was too heavy, and the flavors were all pretty well balanced. There wasn’t anything that totally blew our minds, that’s true, but if you know you’ll enjoy these flavor profiles, we say it’s certainly worth trying!

It was a solid booth!

That’s it for this booth, but there’s a LOT more where that came from!
