Oogie Boogie Bash has officially arrived at Disney California Adventure, and we’re here to experience everything!

Oogie Boogie Bash is BACK, and it goes from August 18th through October 31st, on select nights. The party is bringing eats and treats, a dessert party, exclusive character meet-and-greets, and exclusive entertainment and experiences. One experience we were really looking forward to is a brand-new street party that is at the event this year!

If you’re going to Oogie Boogie Bash this year, you’ll have the chance to check out the all-new “Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake – A Haunted Mansion Street Party.” The party brings iconic moments from the Haunted Mansion to the streets of Disney California Adventure, like the Stretching Room!

There’s also a float dedicated to the killer bride Constance Hatchaway. This was a little scary because she’s looking at us like we’re next!

The party features multiple show-stopping moments for Madame Leota to host her spirited séance and swinging wake filled with happy haunts, ghostly dancing, and ghoulish delight. You’re invited to partake in a good time that beckons all 999 ghosts.

So cool!

Something unique about this parade is that it literally stops for a dance break! So many grim-grinning ghosts were dancing in this street party.

Oogie Boogie Bash is almost here at Disney California Adventure in Disneyland! The special event runs on select nights from August 18th to October 31st, with some nights already selling out (so you’ll want to grab those tickets fast!).

One of the new experiences coming to the party is Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake — A Haunted Mansion Street Party, and new photos have just been released. Let’s just say this is a Haunted Mansion fan’s DREAM.

Check this out! It looks like it’s straight out of the Haunted Mansion and we’re totally nerding out. From the details on the tightrope walkers’ dress to the dancers wearing the Cast Member costumes and even the crocodile hanging out by the edges, we’re going to be in total awe when we see it for ourselves. If you look a little bit behind, you can see the ballroom dancers, too.

On another float, we see the bride, her bouquet surrounded by ghosts. Performers are holding ghosts, and there are more dancers that look ghoulish. Looking further back, we can see the three Hitchhiking Ghosts who might just follow you home.

You won’t want to miss this swinging wake which will float down the streets. Since it’s new this year, you might want to line up early to get a good look at all the performers. We hope the grave diggers make an appearance, too. We love seeing their sparks light up the dark night.
